Scripture tells us that we will all face trials in this life.  No one is exempt from loss, pain and hurt.  WHCC provides several Care Ministries and Care Groups to encourage you, provide services and  most importantly, prayer to help you through those difficult times.  Feel free to contact our Discipleship Pastor, Roger Phelps or call the church office at 276-628-8659 if you or someone you know is in need of services or prayer.  If you are interested in learning more about volunteering in one of these care ministries, email serve@whcc.info to learn more about how to get involved.

Pastoral Care is available after business hours by calling the Pastor on call at (276)274-7223.

Decision Counselors

WHCC has a ministry of trained Decision Counselors who are prepared to pray with you and share with you the good news of Jesus Christ and how to surrender your life to Him.  These Decision Counselors are available at the end of every Sunday service.

Visitation/Communion

Are you unable to attend church each Sunday due to health issues?  Are you in a nursing home facility or no longer able to get out?  WHCC has a visitation team that would love to stop by to pray with you and provide communion.  Contact Discipleship Pastor, Roger Phelps at rphelps@whcc.info to learn more.  You may also leave a message by calling the church at 276-628-8659 ext. 407.

Isaiah 55 Pray-er Groups

Being a mother is a great joy, but comes with many challenges.  I55 Prayer Groups join women together to pray scripture over their children.  Each group is made up of 5-7 women.  Each woman commits to pray for all the children in the group one day each week.  Visit the I55 website to see sample prayers and testimonials.   To learn more about getting involved in I55 Prayer Group, stop by the GROUPS table or email contact@whcc.info

Prayer Team

Are you a prayer warrior?  We believe in the power of prayer!  The Prayer Team consists of men and women who are faithful to prayer.  They pray over many of the prayer requests submitted to the church, including confidential requests.  They also have a representative in the prayer room during Sunday services to invite the spirit into the service and the hearts of everyone in attendance.  Prayer requests and praises can be submitted online here or by completing a Prayer Card.

Women Who Care

Women Who Care is a care ministry that provides meals for church families who have short-term needs due to surgery, illness or a death in the family.  If you are willing to help prepare or deliver meals, email serve@whcc.info.  If you have a need or know of a church family who does, email rphelps@whcc.info or call the church office.
