WHCC desires to be an externally-focused church.  What happens here is to equip you for the life that happens outside of these walls.

Our Vision

Imagine a church filled with unique people who share a common faith.  A church where people come together to worship, study and learn.  A place where we are fed from the word of God not just to feel good, but to prepare us for works of service.  A place where The Great Commission is central to everything we do.  A church that equips believers to be disciples who go out into the community to make more disciples.  Perhaps some disciples are called to mission fields outside of our local community.  The word of Jesus Christ and His saving grace are spread not just through words, but through deeds.  A church that sends people out to love the least of these.  This is our vision.  We aren't completely there yet.  We would love for you to join us on our journey to become more externally focused, more driven to serve and ultimately to fulfill our purpose as disciples.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
— Matthew 28:18-20 - The Great Commission
