Paul and his wife, Marsha were high school sweethearts. They have been married since 1988. They have two adult sons and one beautiful granddaughter.
Paul graduated from Johnson University in 1993. He has served as the Senior Pastor at WHCC since 1999.
For fun, Paul loves spending time with his wife on the lake or touring the country on their Harley. They also enjoy live music of any genre, but their favorite is country.
Lee and his wife Jonnie have been married since 1991. They have two adult children.
Lee graduated from Johnson University in 1993 with a degree in Biblical Studies. He joined the WHCC staff in 2015. Prior to serving at WHCC, he was the Senior Minister at Lebanon Christian Church in Lebanon, IN. While in Indiana, Lee served the community in many ways including the YMCA board and as Chaplain for the local Fire Department and High School Football Team.
Lee's gifts are evangelism, hospitality and eating. If he could have a superpower it would be a photographic memory.
Roger has been married to his wife Karen since 1986. They have an adult son. Roger received the call to ministry mid-life. He graduated from Johnson University in 1997. While at Johnson, Roger was awarded the American Bible Society award for "Excellence in Bible Studies" for New Testament Greek - so he's really smart!
Roger has served as houseparent at a Christian maternity home, youth minister and preaching pastor prior to taking his role of Discipleship Pastor in 2008.
Roger enjoys coffee, music, hiking and eating (not necessarily in that order).
Nick and his wife Heather have been married since 2012. They welcomed their first child, a daughter in 2016. They also share their home with their dog, Banjo.
Nick is a 2011 graduate of Johnson University where he earned his degree in Youth Ministry/Preaching. He is currently working on his Master's Degree in New Testament. Nick joined the WHCC staff following graduation.
Nick enjoys playing basketball, golf and loves being outdoors. He is an avid fan of the Kentucky Wildcats. Go Big Blue! Nick's favorite pastime is napping.
Jackie says her husband Ken keeps her grounded and lets her fly at the same time. They have two daughters.
Jackie considers cartoons and games "research" and can come up with 10 games using 1 piece of toilet paper. That makes children's ministry her perfect line of work. Jackie enjoys turning her mistakes into hilarious stories and does not like condiments (not even ketchup).
Carri and husband Cullen have three children, a boxer, three goats, a cat and two fish. Carri wears many hats from being the sole member of the IT department to filling in as plumber when needed (which is more than you would think with a preschool in the building).
Carri holds a Masters degree in Human Services/Executive Leadership from Liberty University.
Carri loves to be outside, regardless of weather and dreams of being a flower farmer. She also loves reading and studying scripture.
Libby was born and raised in Abingdon and has been active in church music since she was a child. She toured as part of the Shalom Singers choir, has led worship at women's conferences and has been involved in choirs and worship teams since 1987.
Libby is retired from the U.S. District Court after 32 years and is a fitness instructor/personal trainer at the Coomes Center.
Libby is married to Lewis and is the mother of adult twin sons. Libby enjoys reading, exercising, listening to music and traveling.
Amanda has been happily married to her husband, Brandon since 2002. They have two daughters.
Amanda escaped corporate America in 2012 to stay at home with their girls. She was blessed to join the WHCC staff part-time in 2015. Amanda has a heart for helping others find their place to serve in God's Kingdom. She has a degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Radford University.
In her free time, Amanda loves traveling, reading, canning and cooking. She loves the quiet of early mornings with a cup of coffee.
Sabrina and her husband Roger have two children, a son and a daughter. They enjoy camping in a camper (roughing it is no cable or wifi). She runs with her bible study group and loves college football. Sabrina thinks Pop Tarts and M&Ms are suitable lunch choices.
Sabrina has a degree in Business Administration/Accounting from Emory & Henry and completed her MBA from Liberty in 2016. She joined the WHCC staff in 2016.
